How to Recover Deleted Files on Android
Do you accidentally deleted files, video or pictures on your Android phone? Do not worry, all is not lost!
I propose a simple and fast technique to recover deleted files Android. Here I will deal with two cases: recovering files that are deleted from the SD card and retrieving deleted files from the phone’s internal memory.
Files deleted from an SD memory card
In this case, you will only need a computer, and data recovery software such as Recuva.
You put the SD card in a drive and you launch the software. After a quick scan on the SD memory card, you will see the missing files and you can recover them. If you are unable to use this software, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to use Recuva.
You can also install an alternative software Recuva: it is called 7-Data Recovery, and it works in much the same way as the one presented above.
Deleted Files From the Internal Memory Android
I’m talking about the internal memory of the Android phone and not the SD memory card. So how to find your precious pictures and videos erased from the internal memory?
The solution is called Undelete. Undelete is an Android application with a rather nice interface and allows users to recover deleted files from internal memory. The application requires super user rights so your phone must be rooted to use.
Undelete also gives you the ability to destroy once and for all files that are still recoverable.
How to use undelete to get your files?
Start by downloading Undelete . During installation, the application will ask for permission to test if your phone is ROOTE. Accept to access the main interface.
Here you can specify where to scan for the restoration and the path where you want to place the restored files. When you’re ready, press Scan Storage.
The scan is super fast. The software will make you a list of the files it found. Make your selection (or select Select all) before pressing Restore.
Good luck ! 😉
